A MAST (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) permit is a required credential issued in Washington State for individuals who serve, pour, manage, or sell alcohol, or conduct alcohol tastings. Upon passing this approved course, your official permit card will be mailed to you.

How fast will I receive my MAST Permit?

Your official physical permit card will be printed and mailed directly to your address within 30 days of completing the course (as required by WSLCB regulations). You will also receive immediate proof of completion.

How long is the Washington MAST Permit valid?

A Washington State MAST permit remains valid for 5 years from the date of course completion. Recertification requires retaking an approved training course.

Requirement: Must be obtained within 60 days of your initial hire date.
